I live in Tacoma with my wife, two teenage children, and a goldendoodle named Olive. You can find me cold plunging in Commencement Bay most days. It has become an integral part of my daily practice and you can get a glimpse of that on my Instagram page where I capture my plunges with a one minute video. I have become very passionate about helping others find calmness and lovingkindness within themselves through mindfulness after struggling with anxiety and panic attacks myself. I believe we can all find inner peace with mindful moments, simply one minute at a time.
September 2020 was my turning point. Like many, I struggled through the first six months of the pandemic, self medicating and suffering through our new way of life. It took hitting rock bottom to trigger a change though, and I focused on my physical and mental health by becoming sober, moving to a vegan diet, and opening myself up to healing past traumas through mindfulness. I also went back to school, something I never thought I would do - I wanted to help others on their mindfulness journey also.
